These are the perfect bit to step up from a snaffle.
These are our favourite brand bits and what we use the majority of the time ourselves.
They are very well balanced and have a super nice "feel" to them.
They offer enough shank to give you "whoa" but enough of a delayed reaction with the curved shank that your horse is not offended. They allow you to shape your horse entering the turn but help on the back side as needed.
Available in 5x mouthpieces as pictured.
* Square mouth two piece. Great schooling bit or competition bit for stronger horses who need to back off your hands. As a schooling bit it will help lighten one up used correctly)
*Twisted with lifesaver centre (Best for stronger, hard running horses or horses who need more whoa or lean on your hands)
*Twisted Dogbone (best for stronger running horses or horses who need to back off the bridle a little)
*Smooth Mouth with chain centre (great for sensitive horses or horses who are offended by too much bit. Affords you the most bend of all the mouthpieces. Great step up from snaffle for horses who will not lean on your hands)
*Smooth mouth dogbone (Much the same as the chain centre - suitable for most horses especially lighter horses who don't lean on you but still need some shape entering the turn)
