These are our favourite brand bits and what we use the majority of the time ourselves.
They are very well balanced and have a super nice "feel" to them.
The Standard Lifter has an even purchase (The length above and below the mouthpiece) which gives this bit lift and a quick response time. The set back curb, very small amount of gag adds to the quick response time and also allows for a quicker release. The various mouth pieces offer something to suit most hands and most horses! It's without a doubt one of my favourite all time bits. In fact I have 6x of them hanging in my trailer that I use all the time. They are my "go to" bit and I can usually find one that will work with most horses with so many mouthpieces to choose from.

*Copper Wrapped with lifesaver centre: The copper encourages salivation thus relaxing the lower jaw. The lifesaver is pleasing to many horses. The mouthpiece is thicker on this bit and is softer compared to the twisted dog bone or square mouth

*Smooth Mouth with Port: This bit will help keep a horse between your hands and help lift their front end. It also offers plenty of whoa and will help get a horse a horse that wants to dump on their front going into a turn to shift their weight to the hindquarters when used correctly
*Smooth Mouth Dog Bone: One of my favorites - it's pleasing to most horses and allows to help one on the backside of the turn if needed without offending them. Still affords plenty of lift and bend.
*Square Mouth Dog Bone: Great for a hard running horse that wants to lean on you but still needs handling in his run
*Smooth Mouth with Chain Centre: My favourite bit of all time! Nearly everything I've ridden in this finds it pleasing. I can help during the run without offending them but still have enough lift. Suitable for a lighter, softer horse that may need some lift or learn to follow his nose around the turn. The more broken links in the mouthpiece help with more bend so suits a stiffer turning horse as well. The softest of the mouthpieces.
*Smooth Mouth with Lifesaver Centre: This is a great "middle of the road" bit that most horses find pleasing. The lifesaver centre gives them something to play with thus helps relax the lower jaw as well as offering more bend than a standard two piece.
*Twisted Dog Bone: Most horses respond well to this - great competition it for the more seasoned barrel horse. Offers just enough control to prevent them leaning on your hands without being intimidating. Gives you lift, whoa and bend. Also a great schooling bit for a horse that may run in something lighter such as smooth mouth.
