These are the perfect bit to step up from a snaffle
These are our favourite brand bits and what we use the majority of the time ourselves.
They are very well balanced and have a super nice "feel" to them.
They offer enough shank to give you "whoa" but enough of a delayed reaction with the curved shank that your horse is not offended. They allow you to shape your horse entering the turn but help on the back side as needed.
Available in 4x mouthpieces as pictured.
*Twisted with figure eight centre (Best for stronger, hard running horses or horses who need more whoa or lean on your hands)
*Twisted Dogbone (best for stronger running horses or horses who need to back off the bridle a little)
*Smooth Mouth two piece (great for sensitive horses or horses who are offended by too much bit. Affords you a little more control than the smooth mouth dog bone)
*Smooth mouth dogbone (Much the same as the two piece smooth mouth - suitable for most horses especially lighter horses who don't lean on you but still need some shape entering the turn. The dogbone centre helps a stiffer horse who needs more bend and is softer than two piece)
